Bands of America Powder Springs Regional
McEachern High School

6:45am - Report to Band Room (Have a wake-up buddy to help make sure you are here on time)
7:00am - Get Uniforms (Double check to be sure you have everything before getting on bus)
7:15am - Load buses and depart for McEachern HS
9:00am - Arrive at McEachern HS. Use restrooms and get ready for warm-up
10:10am - Warm-Up
11:15am - Prelims performance of “The Magic Lamp”
1:00pm - Go back in the stands and watch prelims. Students should bring money to eat lunch at the concession stand.
4:45pm - Prelims Awards Ceremony (This is when we find out if we made Finals. If we make Finals, our evening schedule will be determined
at the Finalist Directors Meeting. If we do not make Finals, we will stay and watch Finals. Students should bring a change of clothes.
Students may want a jacket if the weather is cold. No pajama pants please.)
5:30pm - Eat dinner (Jason’s Deli Sandwich Box $8 - This is not a part of the meal plan. Students should sign up and pay by Wednesday of
this week. This is the only dinner option)
7:45pm - Finals Begin
10:30pm - Finals Awards Ceremony
11:30pm - Depart for ECHS
12:30am - Arrive at ECHS. We will ask students to call when we are about 10 minutes away.
A few notes for the contest:
• Students like to purchase BOA spiritwear at these events. T-Shirts run between $25-$30

Things to have: black socks, Vipers, gray moisture wicking shirt, slider shorts, hair up in a bun, no jewelry, good attitude!
