Top Ten Signs You've Been in Band Too Long


1. You walk behind someone and you're in step with them
2. You don't mind changing on the bus
3. You consider your drill book a fashion accessory
4. Being mauled by a drum is part of your life
5. An "armed guard" means a girl with a pole instead of a guy with a gun
6. You accidentally call your band director "Dad"
7. You have a neck strap/harness tan line
8. You can put your uniform on in under 10 minutes
9. You list your band director as an emergency contact
10. You can play more than one instrument well
11. You can finish other band member's sentences
12. You're used to how weird drummers are
13. You wear your dinkles to places other than band performances
14. You like being in places with egotistical trumpet players
