Winterguard

The East Coweta High School Winterguard program consist of a Junior Varsity and Varsity team. The Junior Varsity is comprised of 7th and 8th graders from Arnall, East Coweta, and Lee middle schools. In 2005, the JV were the SCGC cadet class gold medalist. In 2006, the JV moved up to novice class and received the gold medal at the SCGC Championships. From 2007 to 2011, the JV has won the gold medal at Sapa Championships.

The Varsity winterguard is comprised of high school students who have been part of the marching band program. The East Coweta Varsity Winterguard were 2007 and 2009 bronze medalists at the Sapa Championships and silver medalists in 2010 and 2011. The East Coweta Varsity winterguard has competed at various WGI regionals across the nation. They have been an Atlanta, Nashville, Mobile, Dayton, and Tampa WGI regional finalist over the past 9 years. In 2011, the guard was the WGI Pensacola Gold Medalist. From 2009-2011, the guard has been a WGI semi-finalist at World Championships.
